Award-winning farm

Founded in 2008, Finca Sophia was conceived as an experimental farm to test the limits of coffee cultivation in Panama. Planted with the rare Geisha variety at extreme altitude, the farm yields a distinctive expression of coffee. Growing at over 2,000 meters offers the promise of extraordinary quality but also challenges—from cool temperatures to limited sunlight. Under the stewardship of Willem Boot, David Pohl, and Kelly Hartmann, the team continues to push boundaries, earning Finca Sophia international acclaim as an award-winning producer.
